The Centre for Jewish Life is delighted to have recently launched a mentorship programme aimed at professionals aged 25 – 35 years of age.

We will provide you with an experienced and independent source of career and workplace guidance. The value of having a dispassionate and experienced person who can be a listening and sounding board cannot be underestimated.  Our mentors are drawn from the ranks of successful practitioners in the business and legal community.

After receiving your application, we will match you with one of our mentors. We will give you some brief details on the individual as well as their contact details.  Once a mentee has been assigned to a mentor, it is the mentee who will be responsible for initiating contact and setting up an initial meeting; typically this will be over a coffee.  The venue for this and subsequent meetings is to be chosen by the mentor. The mentors have agreed to make themselves available for between three and six meetings a year with each mentee, each session lasting between thirty minutes to one hour.

The CJL Mentorship Programme is not designed to be a job referral service.  Our mentors have been advised that helping mentees to get introductions to potential employers is not permitted.  The CJL wants to help you manage your careers and work-life balance. We have no aspirations to become head-hunters!

If you are interested in becoming a mentee please email to receive your application form.
